Each year, TREC gives back to the Telluride community by
contributing thousands of dollars to its special area of philanthropy:
the youth. Through its focus on children, TREC supports a variety of educational,
athletic and social programs for students in the Telluride region.
We have contributed to everything from soccer clubs to after-prom parties
as well as providing college scholarships to local graduates. |
Telluride Real Estate Corporation donates $500 per
month to the Telluride branch of Young Life, a widely renowned youth
organization. Young Life provides entertaining, safe environments for
middle/high school students and basically serves as a club for teens.
Among the many programs that the organization offers are weekly meetings,
small group sessions, summer camps (at one of 23 Young Life camp properties
scattered around the country), weekend excursions, sports leagues and
one-on-one time with adult leaders. Staff and volunteers are entirely
committed to adolescents and their needs, as the teen years can often
be critical and turbulent times. Young Life is a Christian organization
that has worked with kids for over six decades and much of its emphasis
is placed upon the concept that discovering one’s faith can be
